April 6, 2024. Today every one of us is passing one’s own way, wherever one goes.
Idea of the work is to visualize ultimate vulnerability while following own way and moving by feel.
Technically, performance art was implemented as follows. I located ‘mines’ soaked in a special chemical composition on a ‘path’ of sand and earth. When the moisture evaporated from their surface, the slightest touch made them blow up. I walked barefoot along the ‘path’, with my eyes closed, not knowing when my step would provoke an explosion. The ‘mines’ were visible for the audience, they could watch the process.
Performance art took place at the group show The Norm in Moscow School of Contemporary Art MSСА.
